Work Package 2
Specification of control and operation strategies
Work package leader: PCA
procession-period: May 2011 - April 2014
In WP 2 use case requirements for control and operation strategies for an FEV are identified and detailed. A specification and development of control and operation strategies with respect to safety, comfort and efficiency is performed. The overall energy manager will be developed to calculate and/or coordinate the new OpEneR strategies. The control and operation strategies development process follows the growing complexity from OpEneR Level 1 to higher OpEneR Level 2 then OpEneR Level 3.
The main objectives of WP 2 are:
- Vehicle specification and base prototype delivery
- Concept of system topology on vehicle level including all new subsystems packaging), Definition of metrics to quantify the effectiveness of strategies and definition of a reference vehicleDesign, dimensioning, and simulation of vehicle concept (functional und geometric incl. specification)
- Control and operation strategies with respect to safety, comfort and efficiency according to OpEneR Level 1, Level 2, then Level 3.
- Overall energy manager with overall operation strategies
